Grand Opening | A Gathering for Maintenance Excellence

Driven by craftsmanship and a shared vision for mining prosperity, Beijun Heavy Industry launched its first-ever “Underground Transport Equipment Maintenance Training Camp” at its Wenshang production base from July 21 to 24. Centering on the maintenance and servicing of wet-brake vehicles and China IV electronic injection engines, the training sought to raise the bar for professional knowledge in mine vehicle operation and care, encourage the sharing of expertise among industry professionals, boost operational effectiveness, cut down costs, and drive greater economic returns for businesses in the sector.



The opening ceremony was graced by esteemed guests such as Mr. Liu Zhijun, former Head of the Mine Safety Supervision Bureau, and Mr. Kang Rong, Vice President of the China Association of Work Safety. They were joined by mine executives and technical specialists from around the nation to exchange insights on the latest technology upgrades and maintenance strategies for underground haulage equipment.

Attendees were warmly received by Beijun’s senior leadership and sales representatives. Guests signed their names on the check-in wall and took commemorative photos.



Opening Ceremony

Amid the crisp autumn air, the training camp commenced with heartfelt welcomes. Mr. Li Peng, Chairman of Beijun Heavy Industry, along with special guests, delivered opening addresses.

In his opening address, Mr. Li didn’t just welcome the crowd—he set the tone. “What we build underground isn’t just machinery; it’s peace of mind,” he began. He spoke clearly about Beijun’s pledge to not only design and produce rugged mining equipment but to actively make mines safer and operations more sustainable. By cutting down unexpected breakdowns and simplifying complex operational workflows, Mr. Li stressed that Beijun is committed to helping mines perform better, longer. He wrapped up by sharing his real hope for the training: “This isn’t just about skills—it’s about building a community that learns and grows together.”

Then, Mr. Liu Zhijun stepped up, and his message was firm and clear: “There is no production without protection.” He drew a direct line between reliable equipment and real human safety—not only does the right machinery boost output and trim costs, it also lightens the physical load on workers and strengthens everyday safety habits. While he acknowledged the progress Chinese mines have made, he challenged manufacturers like Beijun to keep raising the bar in engineering and urged mining companies to never settle for anything less than certified, high-integrity equipment.

Mr. Kang Rong followed, echoing the urgency around safety but with a sharp focus on compliance. “Growth shouldn’t mean cutting corners,” he stated. With the mining sector expanding faster than ever, he insisted that standards—especially KA certification—aren’t just paperwork; they’re a lifeline. He commended Beijun for organizing the training, noting its role in promoting the correct and safe operation of underground transport systems, and suggested other equipment providers take inspiration from such initiatives to offer more practical learning experiences for their customers.

Technical Training

The training combined expert knowledge with practical applications. Beijun invited industry veterans including Mr. Liang Jinqi, Service Engineer from Yuchai Group, Mr. Lian Yanbin, Market Application Director from Jiangsu Kaito, and senior technical experts from Beijun to lead sessions.



Topics covered fault diagnosis, maintenance of wet-brake systems and China IV engines, product upgrades, and technical innovations. Beijun’s after-sales service system was also introduced in detail. Attendees engaged actively, sharing real-world experience and best practices in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.



Hands-On Practice

Outdoor displays of China IV engines, wet axles, and vehicle chassis allowed participants to observe and interact with equipment up close. Engineers provided live demonstrations and answered questions, helping attendees strengthen their understanding through direct engagement.



Many participants noted that the hands-on practice significantly deepened their technical knowledge and confidence in Beijun’s products and support capabilities.



Gala Dinner

The event concluded with a formal dinner. Chairman Li Peng delivered a toast, expressing gratitude to all guests and reflecting on Beijun’s yearly progress.



As a token of appreciation, Beijun presented “Star Customer” awards—ranging from Three Star to Crown Level—to valued partners who have grown alongside the company. Award recipients took the stage amid applause to share their experiences and thanks.
